Collective Nouns: Army, Committee, Jury — singular verb use hoti hai jab group ek unit ki tarah kaam kare.
"Neither...nor" / "Either...or": Verb subject ke close wale noun se agree karti hai. "Neither Ram nor his friends ARE going."
Indefinite Pronouns: Each, Every, Either, Neither, One, Anyone, Everybody — hamesha singular verb.
"The number of" vs "A number of": "The number of students IS large." "A number of students ARE absent."
