🔧 Technical Questions

How does the adaptive difficulty system work?
Our AI engine uses an ELO rating system (similar to chess rankings). If you solve questions correctly and quickly, your ELO increases, and you get harder questions. If you struggle, the system gives you simpler problems to rebuild confidence. This ensures you're always practicing at your current skill level, not too easy or frustratingly hard.
Can I track my progress over time?
Yes! Your profile page shows:
  • Last 7 tests score trends (line graph)
  • Comparison with average and topper scores
  • Topic-wise accuracy breakdown
  • Total tests attempted and overall percentile
We also show if your speed is improving or declining.
Is there a mobile app?
Currently, Ikkish Prep is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can:
  • Open it in any mobile browser (Chrome, Safari)
  • Add it to your home screen for app-like experience
  • Use it offline (limited features)
A native Android app is in our roadmap for 2026.
What browsers are supported?
Best Performance: Chrome, Edge, Safari (latest versions)
Also Works: Firefox, Opera, Samsung Internet
Not Recommended: Internet Explorer (discontinued by Microsoft)
Can I reset my stats or delete my account?
Stats Reset: Not currently available (to prevent leaderboard manipulation), but planned for future.
Account Deletion: Contact us via the support page, and we'll delete your data within 48 hours (GDPR compliant).

🎓 Study Strategy

How much should I practice daily?
Recommended: 30-45 minutes daily (3-4 tests)
Quality > Quantity. It's better to solve 40 questions daily with full focus than 200 questions mindlessly. After each test, review the solutionsthat's where real learning happens.
Should I start with Easy or directly attempt Hard?
Always start with Easy. Build confidence and accuracy first (target: 90%+). Once comfortable, move to Moderate. Hard level should only be attempted when you're consistently scoring above 80% in Moderate. Jumping to Hard too early leads to demotivation.
How do I use the leaderboard effectively?
The leaderboard shows top scorers. Don't just chase ranks. Instead:
  • Compare your time per question with toppers
  • If a topper solved in 45 seconds and you took 90, analyze what shortcut you missed
  • Use it as motivation, not competition stress
I'm getting same types of questions repeatedly. Why?
Our question bank has 10,000+ unique questions per topic. If you feel repetition:
  • Try a different difficulty level
  • Switch topics (if doing only Simplification, try Series)
  • This might be the AI keeping you at your skill leveltry improving speed to unlock harder patterns
